The end cap of my exhaust came out this weekend while riding and i couldnt find it. The reduction of back pressure causes the bike to run really lean. Im running a V&H 2 into 1. Any clue where i can find just the end cap or any suggestions on what to do to add back pressure?

 

it's likely that vance and hines would have an end cap for you. other than that, if all else fails you could use some window screen material, the aluminum type rolled up and stuffed into the end of your muffler and secured in place. sounds like you might have lost more than just the end cap. are you sure your baffle is still in place? is it the V&H 2 into 1 pro pipe? if so, then that's a current production model and you should be able to arrange for them to ship you the correct cap for your pipe. good luck, just don't burn up your motor in the meantime.

 

Looked on several sites this morning and ended up finding a factory replacement on Ebay, got it for $52.99.
