Default cfr slip-ons

Why is it that some can tune the cfr's and get good results and others complain about not being able to tune them at all?I talked to Bean who is one of the best tuners here in Maine and he said there should be no problem tuning the CFR's with a true dual exhaust..I have read a lot of threads here and on other forums about these slip-ons.I was sold on the sound..
Which tuning device would be best for tuning these slip-ons with V&H dresser duals on a 2013 streetglide?I am not into a high performance Harley.I like looks and a deep basey sounding exhaust..
Thanks in advance
Peace and Prayers

First I would never us true duals. But if all you want is looks they might be OK. Good luck.

I have the cfr pipes and had heard of the tuning problems as well. I made a few phone calls and was recommended to use the revolution performance ems tuner. works great. auto tuned my pipes right from day one. no issues. (and no Dyno's)

I recently spoke to Cary Faas as I am considering these pipes as well and he says if I want to change from my stock catted header the true duals will work the best with these pipes.
