Default Thunderslide kits

Got lots of info about the Thunderslides themselves, but didn't get the exact answer I need.

What are the differences in the different Thunderslide kits? Just main jet sizes? Are the Thunderslides themselves different?

2 different kits from them.
Stage I, and a Stage 7.
Both work very well.
Have both on the wall here, but do not know what "main jets" are in either.

Thanks for the reply. As I was strolling the net yesterday, I found myself on Dynojet's website. They are thoughtful enough to post up instruction sheets for the different kits, and within that, are listed the parts list for each kit.

Now, just gotta figure out if the some of the individual parts are different enough to cause concern. Point is, I'm trying to do this on a budget (aren't we all) and if I can get a kit for $50, then I need to pull the trigger.

Those Stage I, and Stage 7 Kits are muuuuch more than that.
Perhaps just a jetting adjustment is all you need??

Just a follow-up. Talked to Dynojet. They confirmed my thoughts. The Stage 7 kit for the 1340 and 99 TC are the same. Only thing different is the part number for the carb top changed parts numbers. That's it. Nothing different at all.

That is correct.
Was unaware that you were refering to only, the Stage 7 kits.

Default thunderslide kit

I've just installed the stage 1 kit on my '98 RK and man let me tell you. What a difference! Bike cranks easier, it's on enrichment for only a minute or two (when cold), and there's no more flat spot on acc. Installed 45/175 jets and adjusted a/f to 2.5. World of difference.
Just filled tank today, curious to see mileage as long as i can keep my a@@ in check now with this good running scooter.

The Stage I does not allow the slide to come all the way out of the bore, creating a smaller throat, thus creating more low-end torque.
