Default help with possible intake leak

I have a 2003 Electra glide carbed. It had been sitting for a year or so when I bought it. It was idling high and was slow to come back to idle after a rev. Also popped on decal. It has pipes and SE air cleaner kit. I cleaned carb and it got better but was still not right. I sprayed wd 40 around intake seals and no change in idle. I took it to a Indy shop he immediately just changed the jets to a 48 slow and 185 main and said he fixed it. Well it is way better but when fully warm it idles at 1400 rpm and becomes a little slow to come back to idle again. No where near as bad but still there. He said bring it back but he is 60 miles away. I am thinking of changing the intake seals but if spray with wd 40 there is still no change I can see anyway. Don't know what else to try and not sure on changing the seals since I can't seem to make sure they are leaking. What else could it be or should I change the seals just to eliminate them as a problem
