getting over 100 hp is not all that difficult. we did it back in the mid 90's and won some daytona shoot out in the process. it takes a good selection of parts, cams , heads carb etc. The biggest problem we see is that people have a tendency to over cam the motors, not the correct ompression and heads that are ported out to big for the job. If you figure out the air required for a 80" motor to make that power the heads only need to flow 140 cfm @ 10". Anythng over that is overkill and will slow down the air speed to completely fill the combustioin chamber. Bigger is not always better. dsv

I went to an 89" stroker and then wanted more. That is getting into territory that is pushing the envelope of what can be done with an Evo, without replacing crankcases, for example. They are not as robust as TC cases and don't take kindly to being bored out. The stroker crankshaft required a new crank, bigger bores requires new cylinders, plus new cases, plus building the darned thing, which gets you into new engine money!
The answer to your query is to do as I did and buy a new one! An S&S 107" in my case.
For more info on how practical it is to make an even bigger Evo, phone Scott at Hillside.
