I am in the process of upgrading my 2007 Fatboy to the SE 103" BB kit. I am adding an Andrews 57h cam, CNC ported heads as well as changing my exhaust into 2-1 Big radius. I currently run a Power Commander v on my bike. I know I can update my map on the PCV with the changes. I am curious/concerned that if I don't have my ECM reflashed, my bike won't run if something goes wrong with the PCV. Am I better off getting the ECm reflashed by the dealer and sticking with the PCV or getting something like the TTS Mastertune or SEpST? Thx

 

I would keep the PCV and spend the money on a dyno tuned custom map by an indy

 

You can have the bike dyno tuned w/ the PCV. We recommend using the TTS or the SE Super Tuner though. They allow us to change the base map in the ECM and you have no additional electronic part which could fail added to the bike. Bottom line is you are spending good money to upgrade the performance of your bike so why settle for the PCV when a better tuner is available?
