I smell burning oil on decel and have had it in to harley 2 times 48,000 miles and they have done deglazing of the cyls. and new rings and breather work, and they still cannot or will not fix it, They say the smell is fuel and have done fuel pump, removed the supertuner and pipes and mapped it to complete original specs. still smell on decel of oil burning. what if anything does anyone think/ thanks

 

a friend has a 2012 wide glide that does the same thing----------dealership says its strictly emission scavenging the natural crankcase blowby back into the cyl and told him if it has decent oil consumption not to worry about it.I swear I can see it smoke but I am the only one.His started this at the first oil change when he went to synthetic oil.

 

Compression and leak down tests are in order. Could be leaking valve guide seals.
