Default Timer cover

My wife bought me a set of H. D. flame derby covers, inspection cover and the timer cover well when installing them the timer cover I noticed there were two bolts not going in (not tighting) took off and noticed that they were stripped out not the bolts but in the inside. I cant get them tight now does any one have any suggestions on how I can get the bolts tight or do i have to replace the whole cam cover cover this is on a 05 fatboy also the inspection cover has been leaking since I installed it I replaced the gasket today so maybe that will fix it if not and suggestions on that as well. thanks Geo

Not sure of the pitch but you could heli coil or a tyme sert would be better. But since the small cover really does nothing any more since the cam sensor has been deleted you could just use blue loctite and leave it be. Many times the aftermarket chrome items need to have the threads cleaned out since chrome gets in the threads.

Did you use the origional bolts or the ones that came with the cover, I'v seen the wrong bolts come in the packaging with new parts. You could always retap the holes for a new size bolt also.
