Python 2-1 Exhaust

Python 2-1 Exhaust
The wife and I were at a bike show today and I commented on how I like the look of the Python pipe. Well by the end of the day the pipe was on order. I was scheduled to have my bike put on the dyno Monday but now I'm rescheduling until after I get the pipe installed.
I was wondering if anyone has experience with the pipe and the different baffle options. I like a nice low tone but do not like it too loud (I know this is subjective). I know it has a replacement baffle which I assume is a type of "quiet baffle". Just wondering if there is much difference in the sound.
I'm kind of anxious to get the pipe on so I can finally get it tuned.
Any input would be appreciated.

I run the Python 3 2:1 on my 05" Deuce; 104TQ/94HP. The pipe has a very short baffle right at the end of the muffler. Performance is good and sound is good until the packing at the end of the baffle burns out; then the exhaust at a certain rpm range has a higher note than I like. Replace the packing and back to normal. I am still running the baffle that cam in the pipe but might try the quiet baffle at some point in the future.
The pipe is made by V&H for Drag Specialties; it is a Drag "house" pipe. Header pipe is same as the Propipe head pipe but the muffler is different; down slash cut. At least that is the way the pipe came six years ago when I bought mine. The muffler is starting to yellow right at the transition from the head pipe to the muffler. Prior to the Python, I ran V&H Sideshots with the power chamber. Sounded good but performance was lacking and I dragged them on tight right hand turns; so I replace them with the Propipe, retuned with the SERT and there was a marginal increase in HP and TQ; more TQ than HP.

DJL,
Thanks for the reply (I was kind of hoping you would). I was a t the local HD shop inquiring about the baffle options. The counter guy told me that he didn't think that the replacement baffle was a "quiet" baffle but just the standard baffle. The pipe is suppoed to arrive mid week so we will see and he said if the baffle that comes with the pipe is different then he can have the replacement in a couple of days.
Now on the other hand - the shop that is going to dyno the bike used to make custom exhaust for Dyna's. So actually I figured that perhaps it might even be better to see if the standard baffle is a big problem maybe he can make me a custom baffle of some sort.
One last thing - when I mentioned that I had to postone the dyno tune ... I mentioned where I was takingmy bike and the conscensous was he is one of the best local tuners. If things work out good = I'll post up his name for Nor.Cal. reference.

Pretty sure the V&H quiet baffle will work in that pipe; worth looking into. Also Big City Thunder makes custom baffles. If you don't like the baffle that comes in the pipe. I saw, on this forum or another, where a guy took two standard baffles and welded them back to back and boosted torque a bit. Don't remember the details, but it was Propipe and he was happy with the results.

Thanks for the ideas. I'm trying not to over think it - I haven't even got the pipe and I'm already trippin on the baffle that I haven't even heard. First things first - lets get the pipe delivered, installed and see how it goes.
BTW - DJL thanks for all the replies (not just to my emails) you seem to be right there with pretty sound advice.
