Default Fat Cat Baffle....how loud?

Can anyone tell me how much louder the fat cat big bore baffle is than the standard baffle? I want a loud pipe but I'm not sure if the big bore baffle will be too loud. I know what the standard baffle sounds like and it isn't loud enough. I'v also heard a set of Python3's and I thought they were just right. Any help would be much appreciated.

BigBore baffle is designed for larger displacement enginess, not nesecarilly sound. If you got bigger motor, higher compression, and hot cams, then... yes, it;s gonna be louder.

I have a stock '07 street bob. Do you think that it would be too loud for just plain cruisin'? You know how some pipes have a nice rumble when you take it easy on the throttle but really bark when opened up? Well, I want something like that. Or is the big bore baffle just plain too loud all the time?

Unless you have a HOT 103" or 107" in that bob, there's no reason to use the BigBore baffle. THe STD is fine.

Soundwise, the std baffle would do just what ya want. Nice sounds as cruise RPM, BARKs when ya get on it!

Thanks for the advice PhillM...I think I'll maybe have to just flip a coin on this one but I know for sure that the Fat Cat is the hot ticket. I don't think it can be beat from what I see here. Just have to decide if I want the extra noise or not. Oh well, there are definately worse things to worry about!
