Default anyone know about the D&M brackets for forcewinder intakes

the & won't let me do a search so i posted this.

i have one of these brackets http://www.dmcustomcycle.com/dmcusto...rtbreather.asp

and i'm having issues with it leaking/seeping oil at the junction of the elbow and the bracket as well as at the attachement point of the two heads.

is does also, eventually, soak the bottom of the filter.

i have cleaned the gasket between the elbow and the bracket real well, made sure it was aligned and good and snug.

the thing is, it seems that the way this bracket works is odd. it seems that a stock system is set up to put the oil back into the intake to be burned. the forcewinder, with the cross-over pipe and drop hose, is designed to then vent under the bike.

this system seems to just breath between the heads........is that right??

is it supposed to just seep into the filter and drip down on the engine?

something isn't right.

thanks
flynn
