Default Thunder City Baffles

I read an article on SE slip on baffles from Thunder City Baffles, they claim to be better than the ones that come with the SE slip ons. They also claim that it improves mid range performance.
Is there anyone out there that has purchase a pair, and what can you tell me about them, do you recomend them ?

Default RE: Thunder City Baffles

I'm looking for the answer to the same question. My SE II slip-ons just aren't loud enough. My wife wants the bike to be louder....imagine that. I have drilled out the holes in my stock baffles from 1/2" to 3/8". That helped the sound and also helped performance. I'm thinking of going larger... or spending $130 for the Thunder City baffles. I hear they are LOUD. Maybe that's what I need.
