Default knocking

I have a 93 Fatboy, when i bought it from a private owner it had a knock under torch, I just had the carbs rejetted, it runs better but the knock is still there. I put an after market air cleaner and it also has long shot pipes and cams. Any input on what I can do to fix this. I was told that a ignition module would fix it, if so what would be recommended.

The knock or ping I should say only happens when I go up hill or get on the gas. I guess knock was a bad choice of words. Its more of a pinging thats why I had the carb rejetted. The mechanic who rejetted it said if it still pings I should get an ignition module. I want to get some advice from this forum.
Thx

Ok, yeah. Have you tried using higher octain gas or octain booster?
The ignition should help also. Sounds like maybe you might have a Higher compression engine then stock. If that's the case you may already have the ignition. Just find a good dyno tunner to have them tune it. Alot of the times the pinging is from a build that was not match with the proper parts, compression, pistons, cams, heads, carb, ignition, pipes, and tune. Good luck.....

Thanks RoadKing , The motor has been rebuilt, so you suggest having it hooked too a dyno. This completely answers my questions. I came to the right place.
Thanks again
