I would like to ask a question in regards to Harley stock exhaust. 2005 FLHT on the rear header the piece that drops down into the front horizontal headder section. Can anyone tell me why the rear header section drops 1/2 way into the horizontal section. Would seem like a restriction to me , but I can not believe that it was a manufacturing mistake HD made and there was a specific reason for it.
