Hello all, i am brand new here and brand new to Harley-Davidson motorcycles. I just purchased a 2005 xl1200c that has Screamin' Eagle II slash cut mufflers. When i bought the bike, one of the baffles was missing, so obviously i took the other one out to at least even it out. I am having a heck of a time finding replacemet baffles for the mufflers. I ordered the Cycle Shack baffles that are supposedly made for SE II's but they do not fit at all (OD of flange is larger than ID of muffler. Any suggestions to baffles that will work, or what the exact Inside Diameter of Screamin' Eagle II's is?

thanks for the quick response. I have taken a look at the big city thunder baffles, and they seam to have good reviews.. i just cant justify spending that much on baffles when i can get new slip-ons for the same price.

 

what do you guys think about putting drag pipe baffles in the header pipe just before the mufflers?

Drag pipes will kill the power down low, where you ride.
