Could be but better safe than sorry; the OP, or anyone hearing noise in the cam chest should pull the cam cover and check the tensioners.

If it's the pushrods. If the noise has recently developed, pretty good odds that it's not the pushrods. No sense of urgency with the pushrods but if the noise is chain tensioners and it goes unchecked, bad juju will follow. That's why "today not tomorrow".
