RE: Broken stud
I had one broken off flush front jug . There glued in so you will need to use some heat to loosen the glue then work it out with a pic. I found my exhust was slightly out off align meaning forced a bit to make it fit the clamps.

RE: Broken stud
if enuff is stickin out....heat it up with a propane torch to liquify any loctite that may have been used and then grab it with a new pair of vise-grips...then worry it out....if its flush....drill and ez out....or if you can get a nut on it, then weld the nut to the stud and take it out with a socket/ratchet....the weldin will heat it good enuff it should come out....i hate the ez out method personally

RE: Broken stud
Trying to drill out an exhaust stud if very tough with the head still on the bike, it can be done, but be careful to not drill through the side of the stud into the head. If your successful in drilling a hole to ez-out, and I hate them make sure you heat the stud before attempting to ez-out
