An S&S spigot-style intake manifold, has a 1.780" I.D., where it mates to the cylinder head, and this is great, as long as the cylinder head has been ported to take advantage of the increased plenum volume, except
the un-touched OE cylinder head has a port I.D. of about 1.630".
The in-coming charge is going to slam into a wall, all around the outside edge.
The OE CV manifold, will work for your new-found 42 Mik.
