Default new motor wont start 100" revtech

hi i built a bike and i have just recently finished it i have a 100" revtech evo on it, it ran for about 2-3 minutes a few days ago and seemed to run well but i noticed it wasnt getting oil pressure so i figured out that the oil fittings that came with the oil tank i used were thread to loose so when tighted they blocked off the oil flow so i fixed that and it has good pressure now but, now it wont start? it will backfire a little but it wont fire, i have a crane hi-4 and i just put new plugs in it agian thinking they might have been fouled i have no clue why it will not start the only thing that has been done was fixing the oil fittings. i have check all my electrical conections already and bike will crank fine and has good compresion & gas. even though it ran for a few minutes with almost no oil it never got hot or quit i ran it 3 or 4 times about 20-40 seconds at a time and it started easily on about 2 revs i dont have a clue what it might be, can running it for such a short time mess up anything internally that would keep it from starting besides siezing which it is not, thanks

Are the oil lines routed right ? Backfire sounds like a carb or timing issue .

yes the lines are right & the timing hasnt been adjusted since it ran, i know alot about cars and i am pretty mechanical and have checked all the usual things but this has me stumped i have put new plugs in it i checked the fuel lines even though they were not touched i checked both plugs with an in-line spark checker and they are both firing, it has good compression, good oil pressure, ill check the timing again though maybe advance it a little but it ran well before set where it is now

i just went and messed with it, i advanced the timing about 5 degrees and it ran for about 15 seconds and cut out so i guess it is timing it was is the same position as before though i checked it with the stock revtech pickup sensor. ill mess with tommorrow morning and try to get it better. one thing i read in the harley manual is that they say thick oil can keep a bike from starting up or make it run like crap does anyone know if this is true? im runing straight 60 valvoline racing oil would that throw the timing off considering it didnt have any oil in it the first time, thanks

First of all, what oil does Revtech reccomend?
Does the engine crank good without the plugs?
The engine needs air, fuel and spark.Check all the systems.
Is there a way to preset the timing(static)?
I dont see how the wt. of the oil would change the timing.

just got her fired up, i had to adjust the timing a few degrees and change out the plugs again but it fired right up and runs great. i read the oil being to thick will make it hard to start and hold a decent idle in the harley manual but the motor runs good now though with 60 w in it. i am probabbly going to change it out to 20/50 just becuase the oil pressure is up around 15-20 lbs at idle and i dont want to blow any seals. a guy i work with just suggested the 60 w becuase it was a new motor.
