I was wondering if I get new pipes for my 09 street glide do I need to get a tuner as well? I know I want pipes, k&n air filter and tuner, but do i need to do all at one time? And is the Dyno Jet commander as good as the Screaming Eagle commander?

 

The 09 is really lean to begin with . If you want it to run real smooth without it back fireing and no hessatations add a fuel controller. the Harley super tune works awesome and so does the powercommander. the super tunere has a few more options but only can be with the bike you install it on. you are basically buying the right to program the stock ecu . the power commander is what i have on my bike and works awesome. they are 70bucks cheaper. if you are looking for a great sound a little more power run a freedom exhaust or d and 2into 1. i can email you a pretty good map if you need one.

 

Thanks for the help, I am looking at the Rinehart 4" pipes, I like the dual look. I just did not want to drop $ at one time if I didn't need too. I am going to do the labor and a buddy of mine is going to do the commander for me.
