i just abought an 07 flht. several people have said that i should have waited, as the the 07s have engine problems.... what did i miss? i never heard of this before......nothing comes up on the search.

 

Some people are complaining of 5 gear whine and there was a recall for touque tunning (early builds only.)

I just turned 3300 miles on my 07 Heritageand it's been flawless. You made the right decision enjoy!

[align=left]07 road king here every time i ride her it takes about 2 days to get the smile off my face. i have read about tranny problems until i couldnt read any more. i must have gotten a good one so far i havent had any whining or any thing else wrong. mine is incredible build date of 9/06 so maybe problems were earlier than this date

I was informed of 5th gear noise when I picked mine up. Due to different cut gears. Got the new calibration on Saturday and feel better response and torque in different gears.

 

Like mine, have to be a BIG man to get it away from me.

 

I'm a bit late to this discussion but want to add I have over 3.2K miles on my FLHX and "NO" problems at all.
Before true duals

 

Got 3200 miles on my 07 Road Glide. No issues at all. Slight whine in 5th but not an issue.

Go for it .....you won't regret it!!!!

 

Just turned 500 miles on my 07 FXSTC and not a problem yet. I still have not noticed any transmission noise either.
