RenoGlide,

Did you look into a 107" and what the difference in price is compared to a 103.

I was thinking of going with a 103 until PhilM informed me that I can go as high as a 107" without the need of splitting the cases. It's sort of what he did with his 88". He went with a 98" instead of 95" and he said the bike is awsome, best built he's ever had.

I have looked into some of the kits that use the special cylinder treatments vs the steel liners of the HD Kit. I havent read if the special cylinder treatment is good for many years/miles vs short term. I usually go for long term dependability, durability and prefer to do the pistons/cylinders one time then leave them alone...so the extra 4 inches maybe not be a value for me. But Im also checking to see how far I can bore a set of stock 96 inch cylinders and then caliculate the inches...

But to be honest, I havent gathered all the info yet and Im not sure what I will do ..... Im waiting until the new Drag, CC and other books to come out with the new 07 parts.

I mainly posted the kit info so others will see that they can shop Ebay and/or get some of the parts from an older TC bike and reuse them on an 07...

Winter is now here yet in Reno so my build is still several months off .. like April 07

FWIW.... the RevPerf coated cylinders are gauranted for life against manufacturing and coating defects / failure. That's more than ya get with a set of HD big bore jugs...
