Hold on chaps, I think there may be a misunderstanding here! It could be mine of course....
Bill asks if he can fit the jugs and heads he's taken from his TC96, onto his TC88. As we have agreed TC88s have a shorter stroke than a TC96, so I don't believe Bill can do that. He could fit a 96" conversion kit, but that isn't free!
Can we revisit this?!

Don't think there is a misundestanding but my response could have been clearer. Of course the TC96 cylinders will fit the TC88 cases; however, the pistons cannot be used as they are designed for the longer stroke TC96 crank. Hence the suggestion to bore the 96" cylinders to fit a new set of 3.875" or 3.932" pistons for a 95" or 98" bore. He is a step closer with the free cylinders and no down time while waiting for machine work.
