Slip ons versus full exhaust system

Slip ons versus full exhaust system
I am contemplating a new exhaust system for my 2011 superglide custom, and was wondering if most people are happy with slip ons or do you you soon want to change to a new full exhaust system. i am considering V&H short shots full exhaust system and rush slash cut slipons with 1.75 inch baffles. I like the sound of the rush slipons but wonder if it is a waste of money not to spend alittle more and go with full exhaust system. i appreciate any and all opinions.

The head pipe is the real restriction in a stock exhaust. Slip ons will help sound but do very little for performance.
A 2-1 pipe performs best right across the board however they really shine in the mid range rpm.
I have a propipe going on. I like the looks and sound and 15 lbs/tq increase over the fat cat in the mid range is a nice plus. The fatcat has it beat for peak numbers though
There is a thread posted last week comparing the 2 pipes on the same bike.
