Default cams for 2003 fatboy

I have a 03 fatboy with v&h big shot staggered pipes Ness big sucker and a power commander.I want to put new cams in it.Is se203 or se204 my best choice?. I don't want to do any head work and don't want to install bb kit. what would be best choice of these two? what is performance differance between these two ?.

Are you only looking at SE cams? Also, do you want more torque at the bottom, or a little more pull mid-high. From what I've heard, the 203 pulls lower and the 204 will pull a little later with a higher peak. I would also look at the Andrews tw26 for lower or the tw37 for higher. Or the S&S 510 for a good mid-high pull. The HQ0034 is also a good all around cam for a bolt in that doesn't get too much attention. Just figure out where you want the power and if you plan on a big bore down the road. If you are going to do the big bore later on, the 204, tw37, S&S 510 and the HQ0034 are all good.

Andrews 26 is probably the best all around cam for a Stage I 88" in a softail; 21 for a bagger.

Suggest that you check/replace cam chain tensioners and inner cam bearings while you have the cam chest open. Also replace the OEM pressure valve relief spring in the cam plate with the Baisley LMR-002 spring.

Andrews 26's are our choice here, for that application.
HUGE gain over your current cam's, hitting great torque very early.
