RE: How do I replace the baffles in V&H Longshots?
I have never seen more than the one screw and it is at the aft end of the pipe. The baffles will come out. You have to really work at it. Try and turn them with a hammer and screw driver. You might also try to tap the baffle further into the pipe, just enough to break it loose. Be careful not to ding your pipe. If you can get them to turn just a bit, that might be enough to break them loose.
Work on both baffles. When you get one of them to loosen up enough to come out ,you will then know that the other will come out with a bit more work.
Good luck

I don't know if you got the baffles out yet? If not take a coat hanger and bend the end and make a hook, slide it up in the pipe and hook the baffle and pull on it. You may also need to use a pair of visegrips to pull on the hanger mabe even a hammer. They will come out just be patient and keep working on them. If they are aused set of pipesthey can be a real pain in the ***.Good luck....

I took off the screw at the end of the pipe and removed the end cover. I tried to remove the baffle but it wouldn't budge. Is there another screw holding the baffle in that I have to access by moving the heat shield?
Thanks!!

I have Supertrapp's on my flhtc, and I'm pretty sure they're the same. Remove screw to take of end cap, then loosen 7/16 nut in center, slide out baffles.Good luck!

Well, I've found out it's not as simple as I had hoped. On these pipes, the heat shields have to be moved or removed to get to another screw that holds the baffles in place. Not sure I'm going to attempt it, but I appreciate all the suggestions!!
