Looking for lifters.. any advice?
Looking for lifters, seems like there are some issues out there with bleed down & such with new HD lifters part number ending in C. The B's are no longer out there to be had.
AMS & Johnson Hylift's seem to address some of those bleed down issues, Fueling seems to have good lifters but... seen some info of them failing here & there.
V thunders seemed reasonably priced just not sure if its one of those "you get what you pay for"
I make runs out to Vegas a lot during the year (not the place you want to break down) & looking for dependable 1st and foremost.
Thanks as always.

Been doing a lot of research, seems most will recommend Woods, Gaterman, & Black Ops for quality - just be ready to shell out some cash...
I just ordered Vthunder (comp cams) 850-1 ($14 each) for my 02 RK (88) with andrews 21 bolt in cam. I just can't see paying $260 instead of $60 ... Just my opinion

LS6 lifters or woods lifters. I'm using the Woods ones and they have been fine but nothing wrong with the stock ones I pulled out at 90,000 miles.

Well thats good advice & info about the V thunder. I've read where I need to call & ask for the Delphi or I'll end up with something of lesser specs.

I have some b lifters with 9000 miles on them and HQ Black ops lifters with 250 miles for sale. Nothing wrong with either. Replaced the b's during my upgrade to 98" with the HQ's, replacing the HQ's because the woods 8 cams are noisey. Waiting for some shims and then should know if woods cams made a difference.

Doesn't hurt to ask. I just bought two sets for a friend in Canada and they are Delphi. The 850-1 are the ones you want, not the 875-1; those are travel limited.
