Any tricks to cool off hot exhaust systems if you want them off in a hurry?

Just use the fans from the dyno. A few minutes and they will be cold. Gloves on the mufflers.

Light water spray, not a hose. Evaporative cooling

Hose it with a mist. It won't hurt a thing. You've never seen a harley lock up or crack after hitting a rain storm have you?
I'm not a spit and polish kinda guy. Whenever I have to immediately garage my scoot in the summer I cool old girl down with the hose. It does leave water spots but like I said, I just don't care.

I sure the dyno owner is gonna love someone hosing down their bike on his dyno. Lite mist or not, he probably aint gonna be thrilled.

Not a good idea. Any loose crap in the pipe could find its way back into the engine.
