Need some exhaust advice. I have Rinehart header pipes on a 2005 elecrta glide but I don't have the Rinehart mufflers . I do have a set of Bad Dad slipon's but they won't go over the Rinehart headers. The Bad Dad's will fit inside the header pipes. Is there a way to make this work? I understand normally the slipon goes over the header. Also, what would be the downside of the header being on the outside, if there would be any? Thanks in advance.

 

The downside I can think of is actually getting them gas tight, as there is no easy way of clamping the pipe so it will grip the muffler. It sounds as if your pipes are larger diameter than a stock set of pipes, which your mufflers will fit. So it would be best to either change to stock sized pipes, or get the correct mufflers!
