OK, I have my heads off for shipping to the machine shop for P&P. I was looking at the removed heads on my bench and wondering about the ACRs. Where exactly are they going to machine the head for the H-D ACR? Is it on top 180 degrees opposite the spark plug? If so, there are cross members that stiffen the head in that location.
The hole is in the center(fore/aft) directly across from the spark plug. It is almost in the gasket surface, almost out of the combustion chamber, it vents into the exhaust. Look in the SE parts photos of the SE heads and you will see the location from the bottom side.

So, the solenoid sits below the valve cover and rocker housing?
