Default Carb Cleaners?

Have an 05 TC 88 w/ a stock CV Carb. Runs great. Should I occasionally run some carb cleaner in the gas tank? Seafoam, Gumout etc as a preventative maintenance, or is it a waste of $, or even harmful to the engine. I always run the highest Octane I can find, and try to steer clear of Speedway and BP at fill ups. A wrench buddy of mine told to try and use Shell or Mobil if possible. Don't know why.

Its ok every once in a while ,but constant use of carb cleaner in the gas will dry out the carb seals and damage the accelerator pump diaphram.

Some Marvel Mystery oil or Seafoam through a tank or two during a season won't hurt.

O.K. Seafoam or Lucas is what I was thinking. It won't hurt every once in a while. But will it help? Bike runs great now, should I just leave it alone?

just leave it alone.. only use good gasoline.. additives at best are worthless, sometimes even cause damage.
