Default Need a good builder/tuner in the Detroit Area

Anyone have any recommendations?

I have an '03 FLSTCI with the Rinehart Crossbacks and the Direct Link Tuner.

Looking to do cam, heads and what not.

No, but many of the guys I ride with have. Also have spoke with Bill at the track many times. Know his "stuff".

DeMasters built my motor with zero problems and very reasonable. I definately want Bill Bishop to do my heads and after talking to him and some of my friends who have used him I beleive he definately knows his stuff.

I've known Herman for 35 years, but he's not a head porter and last time I checked doesn't have a dyno (for tuning) . And not sure about Stevensons either for heads, but Steve does have a dyno. Bishop would would be a "one stop shop".
The old Harley dealer in Port Huron does good performance work, has a dyno, but I think they send heads out for porting. Hope I've been helpful.

Thanks everyone for the posts. I had kind of already determined I would be going to see Bill, but just wanted to see what everyone thought. This makes my decision pretty solid.

Scott - That means a lot coming from you. During all of my research and searching different forums, your shop has come up. If I lived in the area, I probably wouldn't even be making this thread.
