Default SE 50mm TB vs HPI 51mm

What does a the HPI 51mm TB get me (HPI-51D6-17) that the Screamin Eagle 50mm TB (27623-05A) doesn't? The SE comes with the higher flowing injectors and that assembly comes in at half the price of the HPI (which requires separate purchase of the injectors). The delta in cross sectional area is only 4%.

96" to 103" conversion. Stage II heads. Still undecided on the cam, leaning towards the TMAN-600.

I'm interested in the answer here, too. I have ported/polished stock heads and am thinking of this TB as well for my Stage II/III (no idea which) 10:1 103" build I'm installing. My intake is 1.900 on that bugger. Any modifications further to have this TB?

An HPI 51 can come equipped with 3 different intake port diameters.(manifolds)
OE, 1.710", and 1.800".
If the heads are port matched to one of the 2 larger sizes, then it can be a WORLD of difference.

The heads have a 1.710" inlet. The SE 50mm TB has a 1.710" inlet. The SE50mm (that comes with higher flowing injectors) comes in at 50% of the price of the HPI, so I went with the SE to contain the cost of this project I am undertaking.
