Default To Power Commander or Not??

So I am looking at getting a Stage 1 up grade kit for a 2011 RK. My dealer is telling me that I will need a Power Commander as well as getting a dyno done on it. I thought with a Power Commander you did not need to get a dyno done. Am I wrong on this??

Every bike can benefit from a dyno tune. you can get away with a caned map, but it may not be necessarily the best map for your bike. what works for someone else may not be the best set up for you, but it can be a great starting place.

Most of all I would make sure that the guy's running the dyno can tune with the PC. Most of the dealers push the SE tuners and as soon as something goes wrong the immediately point out the non HD tuner and it needs pulled off and purchase the SEST to remedy the issue the when it was really a unrelated issue to the PC

I've even heard on here a dealer sell the guy a PC and then tell him to tune it right at their dealership they needed the SEST after there was issues with his build.
