Default bike not that loud?

My 1995 FXSTC seems really quite at idle compared to others I've heard. I'm missing the loud "pop" at idle. I've got 2 into 2 straight pipes with either 4 or 6 inch baffles. Thoughts? Thanks.

Straight pipes don't have baffles, that's why they're called straight pipes. What kind of pipes / baffles do you have? Are you talking about drag pipes with those 'mini baffles' added (the type that look like the openings were made with a can opener and the tabs bend inward)?

What I mean is I don't have the muffler looking tips on my pipes.

My pipes come out one side and turn up a bit on the end near the rear axle. There's only about 6" of pipe that's not bent on the end, that's why I say they're only a Max of 6".
