Default Gas smell in garage

A month or so ago I bought an 06 Street Glide with a 107" motor, baker trans and a few other sheetmetal mods. After I park the bike in the garage over night or longer there is a heavy gas odor in there. I pulled the vent tube off and was able to blow air through the tube so it is not plugged. Any idea's of what I could try next ?

How much fuel was in the tank when you parked it? Maybe it was too full and expanded?

Had a friend in Alaska who burned his garage down. He topped off his ATV then parked it in his garage, fuel expanded, leaked out, got ignited from the furnace.... Woosh!

It happens no matter the fuel level. I have filed it before I get home so it was full when I put it away. I left the tank almost empty still smelled up the garage.
It is carborated. I tried turning the petcock off, tried leaving it open still smelled.

Look closely where the float bowl seals to the carb body. It may be seeping past the o-ring seal. A yellow stain below and slightly above the parting line is an indication of a leak.

Carbed bike with a gas smell usually means when you park it it gets heat soaked and there is no airflow to cool the carb down so it gets hot and the gas expands and comes out the float bowl overflow. Check float level and needle and seat valve condition.

I am having the same problem with FXR. Did you figure out what
is causing this?

I found an open vaccum port on the top of the carb. I haven't had it in a garage since I found it. I was riding back from a PGR event in Va and my rear tire went flat at 70mph. I kept the bike up but had to go back to my mom's house to fix it. Then Irene came blowing through. I will have it back in the garage tonight and will let you know tomorrow if that was the fix.

Ok. I have checked all that has been suggested. All I can see is good. I took a pic of my carb because I have a question about a line that is connected to it. I googled the S&S Super G and found the quick guide. Mine has an extra line and valve that was not on the one in the pics. The one I am talking about is the small clear tube on the right going to what looks like a valve on the top of the carb. I don't know if this has anything to do with this issue. Anymore input would be much appreciated.
