Upgrading to True Duals

I agree that the pipes look better if they're balanced and also am aware that many who have TDs don't care about the tq loss. I beleive the fuel moto is very similar to a Power Commander wich I have and don't have any issues with. Quite a few have posted and I have been told by my local dyno tuner that the Rhineharts are top notch but the price is high. I am surprised that many are unaware of the effectiveness of the new design header pipe which is actually quite similar to the new Factory headpipe. Obviously a big advantage is there is no interal restriction.

What I know is that when I used my Fuelpak tuner, it wanted very detailed information about the exhaust in order to get the correct tuning map. It didn't care much about the air intake. I kind of played around with the website and sure enough if I altered the muffler model or the headpipe model it would give me a different map. So, in short, if you don't have a tuner then you should get one. Either way, it only takes a bit of time to go to the website, enter the info and see if you need to make adjustments. As far as I'm concerned, you should always strive to have your fuel mapped for optimal performance. It's better for the bike, better for the ride.
