Screamin' Eagle exhaust = screamin' chicken
Just rode home from the dealer where I had my Stage 1 kit installed, with the SE street performance touring mufflers. I chose them because they are 4" as opposed to the Thunderstreets which are 3.5". I thought the 4" would have better sound, but boy was I wrong. They don't sound much louder than stock and don't have near the deep tone I was looking for. Are there any options to have these mufflers modified to get a deep tone? If I mod the mufflers, will that affect the ECM?

When you buy Harley Screaming Eagle Exhaust you should know that they conform to the maximum loudness outputs applied by the laws of the land, I think it may be 85db and it says so on the pipes.
Almost all after market exhaust systems are labeled not for street use, go figure.
If the police are on a noise crack down program most of use would be caught, but not stock Eagles.
