Default Who's done this?

Put the S&S 106 big bore kit and 89 cc S&S heads, pistons, AND used the S&S easy start cams on a 96 inch?

Did it meet your expectations?

Thanks a lot for your feedback.

If you used a different cam set up tell me why....thanks

I just had a conversation with my tuner about this kit. He recently built and tuned 2 identical S&S 106" builds, and had different outcomes.....

Kit 1- 2009 Road King- S&S heads, 106" kit, 585 cams, fat cat, tts....106/112
Kit 2- 2010 Street Glide- Exactly the same components...................113/119

I think they're making relatively good power.

That is very to achieve, and MORE, via boring your existing cylinders, reworking the OEM head casting, and the proper cam.
120/120 plus as long as a throttle body upgrade is brought into the picture.

I agree with Scott, we like the torque exceeding the horse for the street, feel it in the seat of your pants, quick power that the stock head mods produce.

Thank you guys.....I appreciate and look forward to the results. Parts on order. Install scheduled for last week of August......

Minor map out the door followed by a 500 mile break in and then back for SERT Dyno tune.....half the fun is getting there....Thanks again.

Scott

I had S&S Fever.........I always wanted to have some form of an S&S motor. I just had to do it.....

I'll keep the throttle body upgrade in mind for the future to squeek out a few more ponys after I get used to this pull.
