i have a 2008 flhrc . i run premium gas if i can get it . recently i tried adding SeaFoam . Bike seems to run much better, is it ok to use 1oz per gal with every fill up ? or just ocassionaly ?

 

I don't think ANY additive is safe on a regular basis, but that's JMO. No science to back it up.

 

Baust - my brother-in-law is a motorcycle cop. He says that they all dump in a whole bottle of Sea Foam, but only once a month.

 

don't think it would hurt but probably is overkill and wasting it thinking occasionally will get you the same benifits and reduced cost

 

It;s not going to hurt any thing. You can leave it in the tank all winter to prevent gas break down and varnish. But every tank full is a waste, as there's nothing for the Seafoam to work on. Every 4-5 tankfulls maybe.

 

I don't see why you are wanting to do this. Once it cleans all the carbon out you are just wasting money. I could see maybe once a month or so.
