Default carb problem ( I think )

I'm having a problem with my 99 sportster, after riding and shutting the bike off If I try to start it anytime soon the bike acts like it's flooded.. I've tried a couple of things and even took it to my local HD shop (of course they couldn't get it to do it when they took it out and rode it ) so I took it home and of course it did it to me just about everytime. Now while riding it will shut off on me after about 10 miles of ride time, seems like it's loading up with fuel and seems to flood it out .. I'm taking it in again today but does anyone have any ideas ?? thanks

Hi,

If you look under a posting called 'Sporster Wiring Diagram' posted on July 2nd, you will see that I have had similar problem and that there have been a few kind suggestions posted that you might like to consider trying... I haven't had chance to try stuff out yet but hope it might help you.

Let me know how you get on

Good Luck
