Didn't think gas-on-the-cobb would turn so fast? The engine sounds great, no smoke, no unusual noises...loud as hell! Talked to him this morning and he took it apart again and did drill out the jets, said that about did it, and it is a g carb. Sounds like a few adjustments away from being totally fixed. I'm getting the bike at such a good price, hate to bail on something so fixable.....thanks for all the help, figured you guys would know more than I would!
Sounds like your worst scenario is buying a new G carb. In fact that might be a good starting point, rather than messing around too much. S&S should be able to supply a new carb to match your engine, assuming its stock.

It is stock....that's a good point, only around $250 worst case scenario.

If you bought the bike for a very good price, a new carb will give it a fresh lease of life and save you a lot of messing around. Post pics of your new toy as soon as you can!

I appreciate that...and I should have it next week, and I did get it for a great price. It's a custom build, the build sheet came to over 35K...not including the Corbin solo, and Corbin King and Queen seat. Pictures soon!
