Default Big Shots Staggered vs Big Shot Longs

I see where the longs were just released for the 07 softails. Is there much difference in the sound between the staggerd and the longs?

Supposedly the longs are better, but I like the look of the staggereds. As you can see I have the sideshots...

I downloaded the correct MAP from the dynojet site. I wasnt to happy with it at first, but since I zero'd the throttle, it's working pretty well. I still have had a few "hiccups" at stop lights, and also experienced a "hesitation" a couple of times if I was at a stoplight for very long. The other day, the bike "missed" for about 10 feet when I first got on it, and then cleared out and was fine. I have not had the bike on dyno, so it probably needs to be tuned. I have noticed that the pipes are blue a lot farther down than the stock ones were. In fact, if you stand back, you can see the blue-orange crossover between the two pipes. Has anyone else noticed this? I've been aiming to pull the plugs to see how they were burning, but haven't yet. I have just over 500 miles on it and about 200 since I changed the pipes, commander, and air cleaner. My main reason for asking about the pipes is because I have heard the regular longshots on older bikes, and they seem to "thump" a little more. Maybe its just my imagination, and maybe it because those bikes were carburated instead of injected. ?

To answer your original question, yes I do think there's a significant sound difference between the V&H BS staggered and longs. It's hard to describe, but the longs have a more mellow deeper sound, almost like they echo a little. The staggered's are more snappy, in your face kind of sound. The longs seems to pop, the staggereds seem to crack.

Does one sound better then another, no, it's just personal taste.

no problem there. The running part is more important than the sound part. I dont want to burn my new bike down. I appreciate your help. I'm going to try it and see. I knew I probably needed to adjust something, but had no idea where to start. Its all new to me. I'm used to 4 barrell holleys!!!

One question I do have is how do I highlight all the cells at once? Do I hold down shift and click on each one?
