Default Options on 124 kits

The one I seen is the s&s kit with their heads and their 640 cams. What other options are out there and is the best cost effective way to do it. This would be for my 04 roadking. Thx

your cheapest option would be to just get F/W`s & cylinder kit, then go from there (we had 3 COMPLETE S&S 124" kits before the move to florida that where going for $4200.00,sold them.do have one more for `07 up if anyones looking)

Boring your cases/Timken conversion and the installation of that kit is OK power, but with attention to some important details, that can be a real scorcher. Proper T/body and pipe combination will pull it all togather, and certainly budget for a clutch upgrade of sorts.
The S&S .625 cam would be better suited for bagger power delivery, if wanting to stay with all S&S.

Dont need to stay with any one brand, just the first one seen. Ill consider anyones jugs pistons, cams from anyone. Even use stock heads worked if a good combo. But this a big step not like my 95 or 107 that I currently have, so I only want to do it once for the cost of a 124 I dont want to settle for OK power
Also looking at 117 kits but from what Im hearing is the cost from 117 to 124 is real close.

We have built many with S&S cranks, Axtell cylinders, the use of S/E 110" Heads, re-worked.
Several cam choices on deck, to taylor the power for your needs.
Your right about the 117" vs 124" cost.
Thermal piston jets, and about $250.00 additional crank cost(s) are the only 2 items that seperate the 2..................along with the power.
