RE: Wrapping Exhaust with black heat wrap
Wraping the pipes will significantly dcrease the life of your exhaust system. I traps too much heat into the metal, and it becomes brittle. It will eventually break. When it gets wet, it stays wet for a long time after you stop riding. That will cause corrosion.
If it's just for asthetics, a good hi temp paint is the best way. It's inexpensive, and easy to repair when it eventually chips off. And it will.
If you really want it to work good, last forever, and look good, send the pipes off the Jet Hot and have them ceramic coated in the color of your choice.
