Default cranking compression

I think I did it right almost. I forgot to take off air cleaner, dont know if that gives you different numbers. Took spark plugs out and cranked it a few times. Front 150, rear 151. Big boys calc say I should be at 154 with my build and alitude of 4500' so I guess Im close. Got my tester from sears, nice little kit with a bunch of different attachments. I did it with engine cold, would a hot give me a different reading? THX
