Default 2007 Ultra Exhaust Pipes

Can Any 1 help me
I own a 2007 ultra Classic I found that there is 2 different exhaust pipes on my bike LS Part# 65846-07 and RS 65538-07. I have noticed that the left 1 is much heavier. After some research I think it has a catalyic convertor in it But there is not 1 in the Right
Could someone plz explain to me why this is because I would like to change my exhaust to something louder . I have a friend who has a set of pipes he had to take off because he said he was getting oil blow back into his air filter because of back pressure.
I am a still a harley virgin and have only owned my bike for 3 years so i am still learning
Thanx

Oil in the air filter is from the crankcase ventilation. I get a bit over 3K rpm. but don't notice it. Check the tubes running from the head vent ports to the back of the air filter; if they are in poor condition or not positioned right you will see oil.
I think they started puting cats on the left side in '07. I haven't heard of any problems with deleting them and going to whatever pipes you want.
