Can anyone confirm that Kuryakyn exhaust products are re-branded V&H products with different exhaust tips, heat shields and other minor styling Q's. Specifically:

V&H Monster Ovals vs. Kuryakyn Beast Ovals,
V&H Monster Rounds vs. Kuryakyn Crusher Mufflers,
V&H Dresser Duals vs. Kuryakyn Crusher True Duals,
V&H Power Duals vs. Kuryakyn Power Cell Duals

I've noticed the installation instructions and the products themselves to be almost identical. Kuryakyn provides a selection of TTS Mastertune presets for their perfect storm configurations. I'm thinking they would also be compatible with Vance & Hines counterparts.

 

They could be. V&H is pretty good quality though and Kuryakin mostly specialized in gaudy bling. Why not just buy V&H? Their quality fit and finish is a known quantity. Kuryakin? Well they have a different reputation.

 

I purchased the V&H monster ovals / dresser duals. I'm interested in the TTS preset maps Kuryakyn has on their website for beast ovals and crusher true duals. I'm thinking this map would be a good fit for my system. I'm also just plain curious since the two seem so similar.
