Please help minor smoke in new 96ci motor.
I have a bone stock 2011 fxdb streetbob.
I have 100 miles on the motor.
I have been breaking in the new motor . I followed all recommended break in procedures.
At about 30 miles I had a slight case of smoke just very briefly and the motor smelled hot (it is breaking in) . My girlfriend said she briefly saw a puff of blue smoke between the front forks and the engine. At 100 miles it did it again .
Both times were when I had run the motor for longer periods of time , each time getting hotter than the time before . I am gradually increasing my riding time as I get more miles. Is this normal while the rings are seating and the engine paint is baking on? Just wondering if I should be concerned or if this is normal. The bike seems to run just fine, smooth power, no popping , pinging etc, I now have 105 miles on my motor. Could use some input as to if this is ok or if I should be very concerned. I have a 2011 FXDB Streetbob 96ci motor, 6 speed transmission. Stock.

Look under it good at night with a light and mirror and make sure all is dry. Brand new everything, never know, could have a drip at the oil filter or bottom plugs. I would think at 100 miles the new paint and smell should have worn off. However a 100 degree day and 70 mph run will get some more if you have not done that yet. Puffs of blue are usually oil leaks getting on the exhaust and at front I would think filter. May need a 1/8 tighter turn if its seeping.
