Its sound like you dont have your alignment right with the oil pump.

Cam grease will not cause a problem. It can take a few seconds to get the light to go out, but if staying on 30 sec or more, you most likey have a probelm. If you had the gerotors (gears) out of the oil pump body, most likely you put them back in the wrong order. Very common occurence for do it yourselfers.
You'll have to take your cam cover and plate back off, take the oil pump out and all the internal washers and gerotors (if you took them all out to clean them). Double check the alignment when reinstalling and make sure you have all the o-rings in place when you put the oil pump back in. How did you align your oil pump the first time? Did you use the oil pump alignment pins and then rotate the rear wheel?
Is there suppose to a plate over the wavey washers on the oil pump or is the plate suppose to go behind them. could someone put a copy of oil pump diagram on here. stock oil pumptc88 05 roadking thanks
I used tapered bolts and spin the back tire yes. when i pulled the cam plate slowy the wavey washers and the looks to be the fitted end plate came out.
